Two Cases of SF6 "CT" Faults Detection Report

There were two successive SF6 CT incidents in the mid-December in Sichuang Grid, our engineers used JH3000-2 to detect faults, they located the fault place quickly according to detection data, the facts matched the detection diagnosis, pls. see details below.
1. 500KV 5063 CT Phase A Fault at Tanjiawan Substation of Deyang Power Supply Bureau
On Dec. 12, 2008, 500KV 5063 CT Phase A had earth short circuit failure, the circuit breaker tripped off while switched on in a second then tripped off in 8 seconds again. The circuit breaker brand is ABB. Pls. see detection data as below:

2. 220KV 264 Lower CT Phase B Fault at Jiuli Substation of Leshan Power Supply Bureau
On Dec. 18, 2008, 200KV 264 lower CT Phase B had off and on current fault by two times, then the equipment was turned off. The detection data was as below:
